Article Processing Charge

The International Journal of Applied Power Engineering (IJAPE) is an open access journal published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA). All articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or paywall.

Submission Fee

There is no fee for submitting a manuscript to IJAPE. Authors can submit their articles without any initial charges.

Article Publication Fee

To cover the costs associated with open access publishing, including editorial management, peer review administration, typesetting, DOI registration, online hosting, indexing, and archiving, authors are required to pay an Article Publication Fee (APF) only upon acceptance of their manuscript.

  • APF for the first 8 pages: USD 345
  • Additional pages beyond 8 pages: USD 50 per page

Exemptions and Discounts

  • Guest editorials, invited articles, book reviews, corrections, addendums, and retractions are published free of charge.
  • Authors with insufficient funding may request a partial discount (up to 15%) upon approval by the editorial office.

All authors are encouraged to secure funding for the APC through their research grants, institutions, or other support mechanisms. No charges are incurred for manuscripts that are rejected after peer review.

This policy ensures that IJAPE maintains high-quality open access publishing while providing transparent information about publication costs in accordance with COPE, DOAJ, and Scopus standards.
