Author Guidelines

Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official IJPEDS templates (Word or LaTeX). Submissions should be written in clear English, follow the IEEE citation style [1], [2], and adhere to the following requirements:

  • Length: Maximum 12 pages for original research articles or 16 pages for review/survey papers.
  • Abstract: 100–200 words, self-contained, without references.
  • Keywords: 5–7 keywords.
  • Title: Concise (max. 10 words), without acronyms or abbreviations.
  • Structure: IMRaD style (Introduction, Method, Results & Discussion, Conclusion). Additional section may be added for novel methods/algorithms.
  • References: 25-30 references, at least 20% from the last 5 years. Use a reference manager such as Mendeley.
  • Figures and Tables: Must be clear (not blurred), with labeled axes (X and Y), legends, and captions. Multiple parts in one figure should be labeled (a), (b), etc.
  • Mandatory Sections: Funding Information, Author Contributions (CRediT taxonomy), Conflict of Interest Statement, Data Availability Statement, Author Biography (with ORCID, Google Scholar, WoS, Scopus IDs if available).
  • Self-Citation Policy:
    • Maximum of 5 self-citations by the author per manuscript.
    • Maximum of 2 self-citations to the publisher’s own journals per manuscript.

For detailed formatting instructions, see the full Author Guidelines page.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under review elsewhere.
  • The manuscript follows the IJPEDS template (Word or LaTeX).
  • The file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX. If LaTeX is used, authors must also send source files after submission.
  • The abstract (100–200 words) and 5–7 keywords are provided.
  • The manuscript includes all mandatory sections: Funding, Author Contributions (CRediT), Conflict of Interest, Data Availability, and Author Biography with ORCID.
  • Figures and tables are properly numbered, cited in text, with clear captions, labeled axes, and legends.
  • References follow IEEE style and include 25-30 citations, with at least 20% from the last 5 years.
  • All authors have valid ORCID IDs and are encouraged to maintain Scopus, WoS, and Google Scholar profiles.
